New to Family History?

I can help get you started. I can obtain General Register Office birth, marriage and death certificates for your relatives born anywhere in England and Wales since 1837. I can also search the UK census returns to find out where they were living and what they were doing from 1841 to 1911. If a member of your family served in the First World War or emigrated overseas, I can check the military records and ships’ passenger lists.

As I am based in Epsom, Surrey, the home of the famous Derby horse race, I also have easy access to all the record offices for the southern Home Counties: Surrey, Sussex, Berkshire and Kent (in particular, the Surrey History Centre at Woking and the East Sussex Record Office in Lewes).
